Capabilities include:
Renovation object categories —Assign objects to renovation categories that can be changed at any time.
Renovation, demolition, and revision plans —Create and modify plans based on current AutoCAD® Architecture 2010 software design assets.
Renovation drawing views —Switch between renovation, demolition, and revision plans with one master drawing, helping to avoid redundant data.
Renovation layer options —Specify if and how layer names change, depending on the renovation classification of their objects.
Select existing objects —Select existing, demolition, or new objects with a single command to more rapidly generate plans that reflect only necessary data.
Freeze walls —Interrupt project renovation temporarily to correct wall joins without being classified as renovation measures.
Connect complex duct layouts with the Duct Transition Extension 2010. New duct transition tools help you connect parallel duct segments of different sizes and/or elevations.
Custom fittings —Insert custom fittings between 2 selected objects automatically.
Multiple objects —Create connections between similarly shaped duct segments, duct fittings, or Multi-View parts that are parallel to one another.
Autodesk has released ArchVision RPC Content for AutoCAD Architecture 2010 and AutoCAD MEP 2010 on the Autodesk Subscription Center. The download is 220MB.

To use this new RPC content you will need the free ArchVision RPC plugin for AutoCAD Architecture 2010 (requires free registration).
Inserting RPC content in AutoCAD Architecture 2010
Now available to Architectural Desktop Subscription customers: the Spaces and Drawing Compare Module. This module release provides subscription customers with exciting enhancements to the space layout, editing & area calculation workflow in Architectural Desktop, as well as a completely new feature for assisting in the workflow of comparing changes between you and your consultants.
Auto-Updating Associative Spaces
Introduced in Architectural Desktop 2007, spaces update, at the click of a button, when room boundaries, such as walls, slabs, curtain walls, change, eliminating the tedium of manual updates.
Beginning with the Architectural Desktop 2007 Subscription Module, you can opt to have associative spaces update automatically whenever there is a change to bounding geometry in the current drawing. For example, if a bounding wall is dragged outward, increasing the size of the room, the space will update immediately to become larger in the process.
Area Calculation Standards
With the additional capabilities of volumetric & associative spaces in Architectural Desktop 2007, the new module adds support for area calculation standards, such as BOMA (US), SIS and DIN 277(German). Built-in rules automatically offset the gross, usable and net boundaries during object creation and editing based on spatial adjacencies.
Note how in the below image the space usable area along the left wall bumps out to the face of the window glass per the BOMA rule that when a window is greater than 50% the wall height. That window is 7’ tall while the ones along the top are 4’ tall.
